I'm fairly drooling at this prospect, as a volunteer researcher for the Historical Dictionary of Science Fiction (which includes sf fandom). I wish I had enough Internet Archive experience to give you good advice, but I can say as a future beneficiary of your ephemera-hoard that I've found it very helpful that the Pulp Magazine Archive typically ends filenames with e.g. (1956-04) for April 1956. But you did say you have good metadata, so that might handle the same issue just as easily. I hope that you'll update this post whenever the collection starts going live—this will be huge!

Data currently at http://files.johnbray.org.uk/Fandom/

Probably going to name them
Science_Fiction_Conventions_Worldcon_Intersection_PR_1.pdf, and you'd have to know that it happened in August 1995 from Fancyclopedia.

That is not quite unique for rats nests like multiple Unicon series, but good enough for the files I have

That sounds quite reasonable to me, thank you!
